Products and Strategies

Welcome to our "Products and Strategies" page, where we showcase the handcrafted eagles and effective bird control strategies to help you deal with nuisance birds.
The backbone for scaring strategies is my eagle, Chase. He is life-like in every way, capable of screeching and contnuously moving, powereed by kinetic energy provided by heavy duty rubber band suspensions. Demonstrated in various videos that follow.
Handcrafted Eagles
Our handcrafted eagles are not only visually stunning but also highly effective in scaring away nuisance birds. Crafted with care and precision by our founder, Richard Stoltz, these eagles are a humane and eco-friendly solution to bird control.
The process of crafting these eagles involves using quality materials, following specific steps, and employing time-tested techniques. Each eagle is unique and meticulously created to resemble a real predator, instilling fear in unwanted birds.
The image on the right shows five eagle bodies that have been recently demoulded and are ready for finishing that includes detailed sanding followed by a base coat of primer and a minimum of two coats of black and white exterior acrylic paint. The body is further protected by at least one coat of white shellac. The image also shows demoulded talons that will be permanently fastened to the eagle legs.
The wings are also shown here. They are individually cut by a scroll saw from 1/16" thick black abs plastic sheets and are fastened to the eagle body by miniature bolts and nuts. When attached to the eagle body the feather tip to feather tip measures about 40 inches.

Eagles Scare Nuisance Birds is a scaring system consisting of various elements that are used as required to scare the many nuisance bird species and are as follows:
- Life-like eagle (Chase) complete with wings that can move and Talons that are permanently attached to body
- Bluetooth speaker fastened to underside of eagle body
- Multi-use Eagle holding structural base
- Eagle derrick with cantilever arm for suspending eagle with rubber bands
- Ballast bag for use with eagle derrick
- Motion activated sensor
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I hope the following images gives everyone a good idea about how the above elements work as part of strategies to scare nuisance birds.

Structural Base with 4 inch deep slot to hold various components of the scaring system which are firmly held in place by four adjustable screws.
The base covers an effective area of 12 inches x 12 inches and is used primarily for table top set ups as shown in the adjacent. video
It has been designed to convert to a larger base of 18 inches x 18 inches by loosening the screws at the four corners and rotating the four corner pieces 180 degrees as shown on the image below.

Typical table top set up with Chase suspended and moving freely above the railing to scare nuisance birds.
Eagle derrick attached to multi-use,18 inch x 18 inch base.
It has a cantilevered arm for suspending
Chase by rubber bands and a horizontal
arm to hold a ballast bag for operational
stability.
The Eagle derrick is the "go to" setup for scaring activities in a multitude of cases where birds, rodents and other wildlife have become a nuisance.

Structural Base modified to provide set up stability on sloping terraine.
Two of the front 6 inch components can be adjusted to keep the vertical column as plum as possible when the eagle derrick is used.

The belly of my eagle, showing the attached coin sized miniature Bluetooth speaker,(product box shown below),that can receive eagle shrieking and other sounds from the User's cellphone. The fierce looking talons are very noticeable.

This test video shows how a motion activated sensor (which is attached to the vertical post) programmed with eagle screeching cries would be effective in scaring unwanted birds and animals. There is a time and a place when the use of a motion activated sensor would be helpful when formulating a scaring strategiy. The next section outlines instances that should be given consideration.
